Vadim Nikitin is a leading subject matter expert for Russia based in Stroz Friedberg’s London office. He is an established writer and commentator on post-Soviet politics and international relations.
Over the past decade, Mr. Nikitin’s feature and opinion pieces have appeared in the New York Times and the Nation in the US, the UK’s Guardian and Independent, the Moscow Times, the Internazionale in Italy, the Mail and Guardian in South Africa and the National in the UAE.
He has spoken widely about Russian foreign policy in academic, corporate and broadcast settings, including regular appearances on CNBC.
A graduate of Harvard University, Vadim began his career at the Pew Research Center in Washington DC. In the UK, he has worked with former Labour Party leader Ed Miliband and most recently served as an associate at a major risk consultancy. Vadim comes from Murmansk, Russia and is bilingual in Russian and English.
