Stacey E. Randolph is a Director in Stroz Friedberg’s Chicago office. She is responsible for conducting digital forensics acquisitions and analyses of digital media. Ms. Randolph works on a variety of cases, including corporate investigations, intellectual property theft, document authentication, eDiscovery, and data recovery. Additionally, Ms. Randolph mentors new employees on digital forensics processes, case work analysis, and research efforts.
Before joining Stroz Friedberg, Ms. Randolph was a forensic examiner with two forensics firms. She performed digital forensics acquisitions and analyses of mobile devices, computers, servers, and cloud-based systems. She has written forensic reports for matters relating to intellectual property theft, document authentication, employee relations, insurance fraud, and eDiscovery.
Ms. Randolph has been a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) since 2008, a Guidance Software EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) since 2015, and a CompTIA A+ since 2016. She is a graduate of Defiance College and Central Ohio Technical College where she earned a B.S. in Computer Forensics and an A.A.S. in Forensic Science, respectively. She has spoken at various events including the Illinois Paralegal Association’s Fall Education Conference, SANS DFIR Summit, American Bar Association Symposium, Forensic 4:cast Podcast, and for her alma mater Defiance College.
