Rick Hemsley is the Vice President of Enterprise Security & Risk Management for Stroz Friedberg. Based out of the London office, he is responsible for developing and expanding relationships with the firm’s enterprise clients. In his role as a trusted advisor his focus is on assisting clients to adopt practices which provide proactive management and control of their risk and security posture. Mr. Hemsley has over 15 years of experience working with clients to achieve their business objectives and delivering security advice across a number of verticals including Financial Services, Energy, Utility, Central and Devolved Government, and Telecommunications sectors.

Mr. Hemsley also brings an impressive history of both consulting and business development experience. Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg, he served as the Lead Cyber Security Consulting Partner (EMEA) for Wipro, reporting directly to the Global Head of Cyber Security. Mr. Hemsley’s focus was on the development of solutions for clients and the contribution of thought leadership on the management of cyber security risk. In this role, he worked with clients across a number of different sectors and managed relationships with key strategic partners.

Previously, Mr. Hemsley was Assistant Vice President of Cyber Security for SAIC (now Leidos) in EMEA. He was charged with developing the consulting practice and also growing strategic relationships with clients, partners and industry bodies. Mr. Hemsley led the team that delivered the first international and commercial sale for a telecommunications carrier grade security solution, which was successfully implemented for a major European carrier.  He also contributed to and played an active part in the development and execution of the organisation’s international cyber security strategy.

Mr. Hemsley attended Strathclyde University Business School, from which he was awarded an MBA, and Glasgow Caledonian University from which he was awarded a BSC (Hons) in Computer Information Systems.
