Morgan Bjerke is a Stroz Friedberg Vice President based in the firm’s Dallas office. Ms. Bjerke is part of the firm’s global Incident Response practice, overseeing a high-skilled team of first responders, threat intelligence analysts and malware specialists.  Her years of risk consulting and technical expertise are heavily relied upon by law firms and corporations seeking both proactive and reactive solutions related to complex data breaches and advanced cybercrimes.

Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg, Ms. Bjerke served as the Global Security Transformation leader at Mandiant where she was charged with helping Fortune 500 clients transform from a traditional, technology-focused information security platform into a business-driven strategic model balanced by people, processes, and technology. This included successfully managing numerous teams and working hand-in-hand with clients to analyze, evaluate, design and implement enhanced information systems, efficient procedures and overall more effective IT security.

Ms. Bjerke also obtained significant experience serving as a Security Manager at Ernst & Young. While there, Ms. Bjerke specialized in the delivery of IT risk transformation services ranging from incident response to IT privacy to data protection and data analytics.

Throughout her career, Ms. Bjerke has advised and supported renowned organizations in the initial design and roll out of their Security Operations Center, Security Incident and Event Management Systems, and Computer Incident Response Teams. This includes assistance with associated tools, technologies, organization/governance structures, and operational procedures.

Preceding her consulting career, Ms. Bjerke collaborated with the DOD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) on the National Repository for Digital Forensic Intelligence (NRDFI) federal research grant. She formulated research around forensic tools and technologies in order to assist local, state, and federal law enforcement in performing forensic analysis with respect to obtaining and preserving technology evidence.

Ms. Bjerke holds several information security certifications, including: Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Information Technology (CIPP/IT), and the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). She also holds five NSA and CNSS Information Assurance Certifications, including: NSTISSI 4011, CNSSI 4012, CNSSI 4014, NSTISSI 4015, and the CNSSI 4016.
