Michael Fenn is a Vice President of Intellectual Property in Stroz Friedberg’s Boston office. Michael’s work as an expert testifier and consultant on numerous matters has included technologies such as smartphone software, digital rights management, distributed systems, virtual reality gaming, medical records systems, and test and measurement software. He has submitted expert reports and declarations on behalf of clients, and has also been deposed on multiple occasions.
Michael joined Stroz Friedberg from Elysium Digital, which was acquired by Stroz Friedberg in 2015. Prior to joining Elysium Digital, he worked at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems as both a systems and software engineer. In those roles, Michael provided technical leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams, developed high-performance radar data and signal processing algorithms, and developed software for large-scale phased array radar systems. Before that, he worked at Abiomed where he developed remote monitoring software and designed embedded systems for artificial hearts.
Michael focused his master’s research on signal processing and communication theory, and his undergraduate studies on computer architecture and digital design. He is also a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner.
