John G. Bruno serves as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Innovation and Chief Information Officer of Aon and Co-Chair of Aon Cyber Solutions Group. He joined Aon in September 2014 and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

In this role, Bruno is responsible for delivering industry-leading technology across Aon’s Risk Solutions and HR Solutions businesses to support the firm’s strategy to create valuable insight through data and analytics that empowers results for clients. Bruno oversees over 8,000 professionals globally, driving world-class service delivery, productivity, collaboration and business model innovation across the firm.

Prior to joining Aon, Bruno was Executive Vice President, Industry & Field Operations and Corporate Development for NCR Corporation, where he led all of NCR’s lines of business inclusive of financial services, retail, hospitality, travel, telecom and technology, interactive printer solutions and small business. As NCR’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), he played a prominent role in the company’s reinvention to a growth oriented hardware-enabled, software-driven business with a focus on innovation and business model transformation. Under Bruno’s leadership, NCR completed a number of transformative acquisitions including its three largest while repositioning the company’s brand and marketing approach to align with its reinvention—defining and leading a new technology category of consumer transaction technologies.

Throughout his 25-year career in the technology industry, he has held senior leadership positions with increasing responsibilities with Fortune 500 companies including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and Cisco Systems.

Bruno currently serves on the Board of Directors for Global Payments (NYSE: GPN), Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development (ACORD), and Technology Business Management Council.
