Christine Oropeza is a Senior Consultant in Stroz Friedberg’s Boston office where she is responsible for conducting digital forensic preservations and examinations of desktop computers, laptops, servers, removable media, mobile devices, email systems, cloud storage applications, websites and social media in support of civil litigations and criminal matters.
Ms. Oropeza has consulted on digital forensic investigations both domestically and internationally. Significantly, she has performed preservations and analysis on numerous call recording systems and databases in place at large financial institutions and insurance companies. Ms. Oropeza has also performed quality assurance analysis on email archiving systems for one of the world’s largest financial advisory firms.
Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg, Ms. Oropeza was a Digital Forensic Research Assistant at the Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Investigation in Burlington, Vermont. There, she was responsible for testing and evaluating digital forensic tools and processes used for case work, and also conducting research on current topics in the digital forensics and incident response community.
Ms. Oropeza holds several professional certifications, including GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) and GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE).
Ms. Oropeza earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Digital Forensics from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont.
