Due Diligence Analyst Program

Many of the world’s largest and most profitable companies depend on us to conduct compliance and reputational risk assessments and investigate allegations of possible misconduct linked to potential business partners, clients, employees or existing counterparties across the world. We work closely with organizations to support gold standard anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and other compliance programs, as well as internal or whistle-blower investigations and litigation.

Using public, proprietary and confidential sources, we identify, collect and analyze data to help our clients make informed decisions. Leaving no stone unturned, we undertake a bespoke range of checks and investigations ranging from standard Know Your Customer, client on-boarding and pre-employment screening to in-depth due diligence investigations into alleged political connections, bribery, money-laundering, embezzlement and fraud, and other wrongdoing.

Are you a thorough researcher or linguist with an investigative mind and strong analytical and writing skills? Do you seek to be part of a team of regional experts, helping clients understand and navigate potential risks to their business?

Come join us!

The Stroz Friedberg Due Diligence Analyst Program starts in September 2017. As an analyst, you will be immersed in our Due Diligence and Strategic Research business, focusing on profiling our clients’ potential counterparties, particularly in emerging markets, and understanding what risks they may pose from a regulatory and reputational perspective.

The program consists of an initial four weeks of classroom training with a senior analyst, before you will join regional teams and help service client accounts. We expect analysts to perform in the role for 18-24 months before progressing up through the business.

Analysts primarily work on the company’s entry-level reports, which focus on identifying red flags around specific individuals or companies from public sources. Analysts later move on to client management and more complex investigations.

The Due Diligence Analyst Program is designed to equip participants with state-of-the art research techniques and the ability to condense large volumes of information into clear, concise client reports. During this process, you will learn to:

  • Become an unbiased fact finder
  • Learn what to look for, and where to find it, across multiple jurisdictions
  • Conduct detailed investigative research and analysis focused on emerging markets
  • Produce high quality and accurate written work, summarizing large amounts of information from a wide range of sources
  • Master our entry-level reports, while working to strict deadlines
  • Form and articulate expert opinions based on analysis
  • Provide context and clarity around complex issues
  • Build on your regional and/or subject knowledge by monitoring and communicating developments
  • Support senior members of the team with in-depth investigations
